That Weird Torx-like Bolt on the Top of the Bellhousing
If you've ever changed a clutch on a YJ, you'll know what I'm talking about.
At the top, there is a rather odd bolt that has a reverse torx head and
if you're typical of most backyard mechanics, none of your sockets will
fit on it. What you need is a...
reverse torx E-12 socket
There! I've said it!
The mystery is solved.

Better yet, go to NAPA and get two hex head bolts and you won't have to
worry about having to have those weird sockets.

Actually, I’ve used (I believe) the 10mm, 12 point sockets to remove
those “weird reverse torx” bolts on the top of the YJ bellhousing.
I had to pull the clutch and slave out of mine a few months ago and was
not going to spring anything for the E-12 socket so I experimented and the
10mm socket worked fine as long as it had a 12 point arrangement rather
than six.
