Russian Highway Hell

If you've ever thought our trails were getting too crowded, you'll feel better when you see what a REAL crowded trail looks like. Well, not a trail, but a Russian federal "highway." This photo was taken on a highway near Yakutsk City. This shot was taken a few days BEFORE the really big traffic jam in which 600 (yes, that's six-hundred) cars got stuck. According to the writer on a Russian blog, hunger and fuel shortage ensued. One woman even gave birth on a bus.
