Ford F150 Airbag May Suddenly Deploy, Not As Funny As It Sounds
Apr 14, 2011
Ford has expanded its recall of F150's to cover approximately 1.3 million trucks. The affected model years are from 2004 to 2006. Ford will begin notifying affected owners but if the airbag warning light comes on, owners should bring their vehicles to their Ford dealer immediately. The light could signal the impending deployment of the driver's side airbag. While that would be a point of great hilarity in a movie, it's far more serious in real life.
Fortunately, no vehicle accidents or injury have yet been attributed to this fault.
