Welcome to Project YJ

Project YJ began as an innocent 1991 Jeep YJ with the
Islander trim package. I bought it used in 1993 and
throughout the ensuing years, it has continually evolved to
match my growing interest and abilities in the world of
fourwheeling. Project YJ was never intended to be a
trail-only vehicle. Since its purchase it has primarily
served as my daily transportation. The challenge in this
project will be to continue to hone its offroad capabilities
while still retaining those characteristics necessary for
a daily driver.
