Just bought a 2 inch body lift for my girlfriends 94 YJ. It is a Performance Acessories kit. I read instructions and didn't see anything about whether i need to alter brake lines or their brackets. Also wondering if lenthing the 4WD shifter and automatic tranny's upper linkage rod has to be done by welding?

When i put a 2 inch body lift in my YJ there was no need to exstend break lines. The only thing that u need to alter is your rad (the kit comes with the brackets). Transfer case will be fine since u are just lifting the body and not doing anything to the suspension.

good luck

BEFORE you put the lift in, make sure the steering shaft moves in and out freely,
if you dont...and lift the body, there is a good possibility of harming the steering column bushings...

Cheers,
Ash
