Does any know were I can get a used 4.0L throttle body? And how much should I expect to pay?

I've got one, actually a complete 4.0 that I want to get rid of. I have no idea what the throttle body is worth, but I'll try and find out tomorrow and give you a price.

Corn, the engine had 320 km on it when pulled. It ran fine, just went through some oil. I pulled it because I found a 4.0 with supposedly 120km on it, ya right, my engine I pulled ran the same as the one in my jeep. Anyways, I want a hundred and something for it. Itis complete with fuel injection system on it as well.

You might want to try Gary's Auto Wrecking in Maple Ridge. They seem to carry alot of Jeep stuff.

Just talked to Gary's and they wanted 100 for it. It does sound a bit steep for the TB. At least a used one.

Seems like everyone phoned Gary's, I did as well and yep, $100. I'll sell it cheaper for sure. Call me at 418-4061 or e-mail me and we can haggle over the price.

what vintage of 4.0 are you needing? if I remember correctly there is a difference between HO and non HO 4.0's

Probably a non HO 4.0.

im not sure if there is actually a difference ive just read somthing bout tps not being the same so im only assuming the rest could be different.

anyway I have a throttle body from a non HO 4.0, actually I have the entire intake with injector rail(if I can find it) minus EGR if ya want it all, even got a nice factory tubular steel exhaust header(again also non HO, this is the '89-'90 version)

if you want the throttle body how does $50 sound?

I believe from a 4.0 from 91 - 95 or so.
