Could one or both of you post a list breaking down exaclty what parts you needed for the swap, how much they cost and where you got them from. Also how much time do you figure it took to do the swap?

front axle =
rebuild kit =
vented rotors =
44044 springs =
front hanger =
shackles =
tubes & bushings =
u-bolts / plates =
brake lines =
shock hoops =
hy-steer =
drive shaft =

I have a v6 3rd & detroit and I know how much shocks cost. What else am I forgetting on this list?

44044's-$460 Lordco
hysteer-OTT $1200
front axle rebuild-about $200 if you do labour 6-900 if someone else does it
rotors-$100 each Lordco
stainless brake lines-$140
front axle-$150 and up
Some of these parts I have just purchased myself and some are parts that I got prices quoted. I would like to know where to get LC rotors cheaper. How much did you pay for your e-locker and gear swap. Also if that Detroit is on your front ifs you know it wont fit in a solid axle. The biggest expense would be labour. Go to Sport trucks unlimited or Illusions audio and video their both in surrey.

I bought a 8" v6 Detroit and 5.29's from Randy's Ring & Pinion and had the diff setup, cost me about $1500. Then my buddy blew his ring gear in his 97 4Runner, and had the entire diff replaced. So I said thank you I'll take that e-locker and setup my gears in it. I know the True-Trac won't fit, I also have a 8" detroit soft locker sitting on my floor.

You didn't metion were a good source for the rebuild kit was. To use v6 IFS calipers what rotors exactly do you use? I have seen people say FJ40 / FJ60 / FJ80 will they all work?
