i can get my hands on some '72(approx.) wagoneer springs and i was wondering if these are the ones i want for lifting the back of my 81 shortbox. anybody know for sure? and is it the back or front wag. springs i want? thanks.

thanks for the info pete. much appriciated. i will look into the chevy swap before i buy anything. yes i know keith personally, but he is so damn hard to get a hold of. busy guy, so i thought id just post the question. question #2. how much lift does the chevy swap give you? i have cj springs to lift the front, which would give me approx. 4-5 inches of lift, i would want it to match. i guess i could just put a lift block in if it didn't. but does anyone know how much lift it gives??? and back to the original question, do i have the right year(approx. 72) for the wagooneer springs? thanks again.

I have no info on the differences on earlier Waggies...I was told to look for 81-84 Wagoneer Limited's (Grand Wagoneer).

If you read more into the pirate 4x4 post it elaborates more I believe, but I think you should get about 3" lift from the Chevy 4x4 springs Anthony
