81 Wagoneer

Hello!
I have a convertible 81 Wagoneer (Yes, I did it myself, with my trusty little grinder). I want to get some carpet for the front (since the back is now a hardwood lined p/u box). Any idea where to go for some decent carpet for relatively cheap? I also want some front seat covers if you can help out there too! Thanks.

Home Hardware sells automotive carpet by the yard. I'm sure there's other places that carry it too...?

Maybe your best bet is to get a complete carpet set from a similar-sized truck (Blazer, F-series) at a wreckers?

Thanks. Its actually my dad's project, and we had no idea you could buy it at Home Hardware. Nice.

hey bikeguy, you got pics of the truck? The convertible modification sounds cool. Did you use a custom soft top? Just curious.
Yah, it looks pretty cool (not to mention unique). We don't have a top for it, so it won't see any rain. However, there are plans for a top in the future. As for pics, we are dying to post them. Dad got a digi-cam for Xmas, so expect to see them soon. Thanks for your interest!!

Home depot on United Boulevard in coquitlam sells odd cuts of indoor/outdoor carpet, Black, charcoal and few other colours.
I just picked up a chunk for $65.00. was 25 x 12.
Less than 1/3 of the cost.

Good Luck,

Kyle
