What is so special about 88.5 Sammies? I always see 88.5, not 88 when I read about them. How can I tell if my 88 is an 88 or 88.5? Thanks.

88 round vent holes in dash and stereo mount that looks like an afterthought/88.5 square vents integrated stereo hole

88 3 spoke steering wheel/88.5 4 spoke wheel

88.5 slip pads in between leafs(round nylon-y things) for better ride

88.5 larger u joints, and driveshaft bolts(14mm heads up from 12mm) bigger flanges

88.5 slightly different grill-outside painted body colour

88.5 "telephone dial" rims

88.5 0.865 overdrive/88 0.795 overdrive

88.5 engine displacement down to 1298cc essentially a swift bottom end with forged crank ( was 1324cc)

I am sure there are more, but my brain is starting to hurt.:violin
BTW- I have found many 88's that are a mishmash combination of these parts, these are just generalities. Of course the best ones are the 91's..........:*******
