My 2 1/2 ton floor Jack has a slow leak. I have the special oil to top it off with, but by golly I can't figure out where, or how to add it!

Anyone any idears?

there's a fill port on the top of the cylinder somewhere, usually hidden by a rubber plug. most jack rams have a concentric reservoir where the outer portion of the cylinder is the reservoir.

i just top mine up with ATF/dexron once a year.

Make sure you fill it when it is fully lowered otherwise the plug will pop out and spray fluid everywhere

Sounds like someone talking from experience! . . . LOL!

The outer case will have a rubber plug like mentioned earlier, sometimes hard to see as it 's probably painted the same color as the jack.
