Hello,
I need a starter for my Ranger, with the 2.9L V6. Anyone got one they'll sell me?
Thx...

Try Wasney down on Trapp Rd. I think I paid $25 for my bosche starter there. If you're strapped for cash, let me know. I have a milk-crate full of assorted starters we might be able to raid for parts to fix yours....

Thanks!! I'm going to pull mine out and see whats up with it. I went mudding last weekend, and I think it got some sh$t in it. When I start the truck, the solenoid stays engaged, so the starter is still hitting the flywheel. It is intermittent though, If I restart it a few times, I can get it to go back to where it belongs.
I'll be in touch.

Hopefully, it just got too much grunge in it to retract the bendix.....

The first step would be to show up at my place tomorrow with the starter, so we can try to figure out what's wrong with it, followed by finding compatible parts from my parts box

If you want, call me. I'm just off Kingsway at Gilley in Burnaby.... 435-3129

blue coyote, I hope you got my message. Thanks anyways though.
My friends sister works at Lordco and got me a brand new Bosch starter for 85 bucks. Can't complain about that...
