Yes, Steve is the prez of our local Cruiser club, the Coastal Cruisers.

A fine fellow, but don't tell him I said so...;-)

What kind of Cruiser are you looking for?

Norm,
glad u asked.
Idon't know, I thought i had it narrowed down but I am learning i was not smart in the cruiser dept. I love the look of the fj60 and 62 but not the 13mpg and i hear some of the diesels are running at 35mpg but dont know which ones or what the body style is
i really like the wagons for versatility and size but don't know if I am just in fantasy land here.
Any help????

As in some other thread here, I'd say get a nice '83-'85 BJ60 -3B diesel, 5 speed. Good fuel economy, lots of room, good aftermarket stuff.

You should come out to the next Coastal Cruisers meeting and talk to the guys that own them. Next Thursday, 7:30 in Richmond. Email me for details if you're interested. We usually get a pretty good selection of Cruisers out every month.

BTW, I think Steve was going to sell his HJ60...

Steve is a good guy. I've bought lots of new, used parts from him with no problems. Fairly good prices also.

He is a good guy but I would not want to run into him in a dark alley.
