Not dead, just busy moving my house, shop and scout.

Should be posting here more often now.

Sound like me!

After destroying my 727 case and ANOTHER Dana 20 adapter April 6th in a Tuff Truck I've parked my race rig. Took the trail rig out a few times with NO (amazing) carnage!

But I'm busy building my new shop so I can change out the 727 for a "new and improved" one (this one's fully manual and sports a 3000rpm converter) before the next race - Billings, MT on June 23/24th.

Gonna stop and look at a new tow rig on my way there.. found a '74 Travelette, long-box, 1Ton, 2wd (bummer) 345/4spd supposedly in good shape. Sure would make a better tow-rig than my rusty 1/2T T'all. ;-)

-Tom (gonna finish the "cap" on the roof tonight and start on soffit/facia and siding.. hopin' they get the slab poured this week)

Try SuperScoutSpecialists in Ohio, they should be able to help you.
www.superscoutspecialists.com

I'd check them out soon because Kayline has stopped making scout softtops (so I hear) and parts are going to get scarce.

Im working on the soft top still. Im hoping to find a used ss kit: roll bar, door fillers, soft doors etc. Does any one do a spring over conversion at a decent price?
