What kind of backspacing do I need for wheels on my 85 runner? I tried some IFS 15x7 rims ut they bashed into my steering. I need a 15x8 rim to fit on. What kind of backspacing do you guys have?

3.5" backspacing will work good, maybe 4"

4" will cause problems, 3.75" is the most common, 3.5" will look sweeeet.

3.5 to actually clear the brake caliper (stock 85), 3.75 is most common aftermarket and is what I have and I have to mount the wheel weights inside the rim or they get knocked off. You can custom order any backspacing from AR from what I have read off pirate. I would go 3 inches for a wider stance or maybe a 16 inch chevy rim. But why not get some 3.5 old stock rims and run the new 33x10.5 or soon to be out 35x10.5

I am getting 32x11.50 tires and I do not want to run them on a 6 inch wide rim.
