he's right...

you can run any size tires you want
44's even...

it's geared to get best performance from stock tires.

I run 33's...it's liveable...i don't think i'd ever go to 35's without regearing...
it's hard on the clutch to get these tires rolling.

and there's somewhere there you can look for vehicle info or something...it's a 'contact us' type thing where you fill out this form with your questions...put your email addy on it and send.
all i did was put my VIN # on it and asked for facxtory specs of my jeep...
nothing i didn't know already but it's kinda cool to have a copy of the factory spec sheet. it'll have axle ratio on it.

uless his Yj has some kinda tow package (highly unlikely) i don't think it has 3.55's
