[Broken Jeep]

i am having difficulty tracing the problem with my brake lights. my signals work my fuses seem to be intact but my brake light do not work. has anyone dealt with this or knows how to fix it. i do not have a third light and dont want to pay the 100 plus the shops ask to fix it. thanks

What type of Jeep is it?

Your brake light switch is most likely the problem if both lights are out though. The switch is normally mounted near the top of your brake pedal.

Don't mean to be a dick, but you've checked the brake light right? If it's burnt out the whole system goes down, I assume you've changed it.

My girlfriend had the same problem, and a little WD40 on the brake line at the pedal cleared it all up. The brake pedal wasn't quite releasing all the way.

just replace the fuse to be on the safe side

thanks i ended up replacing the fuse again took the switch out put it back in and it fixed th problem.
