I have a 79 345 with the electronic ignition.
Its running on the old 350 holley but it's pretty worn out. Ive already replaced the float but the needles leak so bad it's always flooding. Iv'e heard the 500cfm 2brl is good. Any other suggestions?

The Holley 500CFM is a 2300 series carburetor, it will work well, but make sure and get a Jet kit and the smaller accelerator pump or it will bog down, you will need to tune this carb for it to work well.

The Holley pro-jection for dodge also seems to be popular.

Another option is a motorcraft 2-barrel, I have heard good things about these carbs on IH engines, they are supposed to be good for off-camber stuff, try a late 1970's ford with a 302 or 351.

Good luck.. Shawn
