Need info. Been to chilliwack lake and chipmunk. Question is.... where the road turns 90 left after the bridge and the kayak *thing*, if you turn right whats up there? Taking the quads out and wanted to know if its worth it. Is there any other trails around there that are worth going to.? I have the map book but its a pain to unload if you dont know what your going to run into. thanks.

That would be the Tamahi FSR. The mainline follows the Chilliwack River for a ways, in fact the road supposedly goes through the Indian Resserve and meets back with the big steel-girder bridge.

One of the off-shoots from this mainline is the Tamahi FSR which snakes its way south to the border and ends near the base of Canadian Borders Peak.

If you turn right after the tamahi (take canoe out here) bridge take that road over the bridge over tamahi creek and follow it till the next left- that will take you to either liumchen creek or up to church mountain there is tons of good trail riding for dirt bikes and quads the road doesn't show up on topo map. From liumchen you can get to cultus lake, it's a great way to beat the summer time traffic.

sorry about that It's the second left and it is on the topo map. If you keep going strait it doesn't go through the reserve any more, the bridge over liumchen creek at that point was washed out years ago and the road has turned into a forest. If you wanted to beat the trafic at cultus its about a 20 minite trip from the vedder bridge and you will pop out about 200 yards from the log cabin pub near suny side campground at cultus
