Can anyone tell me if the front floor pans in a YJ Wrangler are the same as a CJ7's.

Have been looking for a replacement floor pan for my 89 YJ and the only one I have found says "CJ7 and Wrangler 76-96".....does this sound right?

Any help appreciated

Cheers,
Ashley

yes they will work well. the later cj and yj tubs are practically the same thing. that is why it says 76-96.

Thanks for the reply, just want to make sure, cause if I order it from the US and it doesnt fit.....im outta luck.

The part # is the same for the CJ and YJ....
but have found sites that sell the CJ pan, but make no mention that it will fit a YJ AS WELL.

Cheers,
Ash...

wrangler is the name of both yj and tj models in the states
they couldn't use that name here cuz there was already a dakota wrangler or something up here so they just stuck with the model numbers
TJ and YJ

I beleive the only real differences between the two tubs are the mounting points (the YJ having a wider frame has different mounting positions)
yes the wrangler is a US name for a YJ/TJ, it was GM that marketed the Wrangler package for one of their trucks up here in canada so DC couldn't use that name here.

FWIW - I paid about that in Canadian funds when I bought mine from Lordco. They carry a couple different types of replacement body panels.
