Hear a clunking noise intermittently when

1) Let the clutch out
2) Shift gears
3) Accelerate or decelerate

This is intermittent clunking that's been happening for about 2 weeks. The clutch was replaced about a year and a half ago and so was the 1/2 fork in the transmission. The clutch still feels strong. I'm thinking possibly the U-Joints ????? Any thoughts?
Any idea if I'm thinking the right thing or any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

Paul

after you check the u-joints, check the the support bearing (can't remember what you call it) midway your rear driveshart.

Cn you tell where the noise is originating roughly?

From my own experience, I would have a look at the u-joints as mentioned already and confirm that they are ok.

If they are OK, look at your rear-end/axle. Sounds similar to when my 8.8 "grenaded" a few years back!

yup it was the rear u-joint, it was cracked in 2 places and almost
ready to fall off. Fixed it though and it's running like it's supposed to now. Thanks :D
