Does anyone run the HI-Torque cam from colt cams in Langley? I am looking into buying one, but I would like to hear from someone who runs one regularly. Also I heard that most cams for the Samurai fit the 1.6L 8v and vis versa. Is this true? I am planning on doing a swap to the 1.6L in the near future.

Any help would be appreciated.

The headers are interchangable, didnt think the cams were.......

Anywhoo, yes we ran that cam(in 3 different trackers), very happy with the purchase.

The extra torque is not huge, but noticeable when in 4 lo we thought.

On road, off the line is noticeable too.

IMO, a good buy.

Thats good news. I am already running a Weber, Thorley header, and 2" exhaust on my 1.3L. Massive increase over stock, but still need more HP and torque.

Thanks for the input.

I thought the 1.3 and the 1.6 were the same cam. maybe in stock form the 1.3 has a fuel pump lobe. but all after market cams like Isky and colt use the same casting. I do know I have a 1.3 cam (Isky torquer) in my 1.6L so if this is not possable tell me why it fits lol. I have the Isky cam profile and can grind you one if you like.
