I believe that the 4 cyl YJ's came with 4.10's.

I would imagine somewhere along the line (knowing AMC)...you might run into one that came stock with 4.10s.

I haven't seen or heard of any yet though...

The problem with the YJ units is that they are reverse cut. They are stronger than the standard cut CJ gears (because of the direction of the cut in relation to the direction of the force while in forward transmission gears), but won't work in your CJ housing.

I believe the TJ Dana 30 is standard cut, and the 4cyl versions would have 4.10s. Those gears 'should' fit.

Some older Volvos had Dana 30 rears. Should be standard cut, but I would guess that they had 3.53 or 3.73:1 as common ratios. Worth looking into though to see if they had 4.10s stock.
