There is two ways you can tell from the outside.

#1 On one of the lower webbings on the front of the pumpkin it should have a raised 44 or 60 on it.

#2 Balljoints. Some 60's have kingpins and some newer models had balljoints. The 60 will have a raised kingpin/balljoint that has (4) bolts on it and the steering arm will be connected to this also with the 4 bolts.

The pumkin size. Dana 60's are much larger.
Dana 44's (12 bolt) are usually stock in blazers

Don't forget the easiest way is that the D44 has a 3 bolt steering arm while the D60 has a 4 bolt steering arm

What is a front dana 60 worth to you.I have one out of an 88 1ton 4x with 4.10:1 gears and an open carrier.needs center steering linkage but has new u joints.

How much are you asking for it? Was it a single wheel 1 ton or dually?
