Do it yourself liners

I am looking for a do it yourself liner for the inside of my YJ tub. Anyone know if Durabak is sold anywhere in BC? Would this work any better than hippoliner?
I'd also like to clean up the underside of the tub while it's off and I'm thinking of sandblasting to get a clean surface to work with. It's undercoated and it scrapes off fairly easily but some of the nooks and crannies are hard to get clean. Would it be a good idea to use the same liner on the bottom. I don't want to go through all this work to find that water gets between the liner and the tub and rusts it out.
I've also thought about using hammerite on the underside of the tub but it mentions that when painting a galvanized surface that you should use a special primer. Is a 92 YJ tub galvanized?
On my old rusty CJ tub I found that in areas that were coated in oil/grease from the drivetrain the paint and metal was in new condition underneath. Amazing what protection a little grease and oil will give.

I'd appreciate any info or experiences,
Ken

don't get hippoliner. go for some hurculiner or get it rino lined. the have seen what the sun does to hippoliner after a summer or two of exposure. not pretty.

My truck came half covered in some really really cheap stuff called GravlGuard. It has it's ups and it's downs. You get what you pay for. Undoing bolts and things under the truck that have been smothered in some kind of liner is always a fun time!

I second that motion.
I used hippo liner on my flatdeck rails....I don't think it will be around long enough to see the intense sunlight of summer.
