I can't make up my mind if I should go double shackle or single.

I heard double shackles aren't that great with freeway driving...which I definitely do alot of.

I'm leaning towards a 6.5" eye to eye single shackle, and move the frame mount back 4". hopefully this along with the chevy swap will give me 4" of lift without blocks...

great to hear my friend, I had a feeling about the crappiness of the double shackle, just seems hokey...

so with the 6.5" shackle and the chevy swap, do you think the lift will be 4-5" over stock?

thats really hard to say how much lift your gonna see with junk yard springs there all a bit different, and who knows what kinda life they had before you. it also depends on your shackle angle. tack everything up first then put weight on it to see how your shackles sit.
