when i do my small block conversion i am using a chevy sm465 and a np205 when i make my drive shafts should i use toyota or chevy drive shafts. are the chevy ones that much stronger? becaus i will have to have one chevy end and one toy end. and shortning is a lot cheeper then lengthing.

Get chev and toy drive shafts and get them put togeather to your proper lenght,because you are going to need different ends becuase one is toy and other end is chev.I have a SBC in my toy and use chev and toy drive shafts and haven't had any problms with them.I paid $35 a driveshaft to get them made up without balanceing as a price to reference to,it will probaly cost around $100 to get them balanced but not sure.Phone around and find the best price.
