Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Also what kind of 2" exhaust should I look into for the 1.3L

I just used a second battery and a battery switch from a marine store cost about $35 and another battery cable. used the original alternator without too many dramas but if you are going to be running a winch, lights radios etc you may want to go to a bigger alternator, you could see about getting your alternator rewound or set up by an auto electrician for about $200 I got mine updated from 50watt to 120 watt

You might want to upgrade to a larger GM alternator at the same time. And like grimbo said, you'll need an isolator or battery switch of some kind.

Cost for a GM alt from a wrecker should be around $50 or less, new alternator bracket s/b $35, isolator around $50, plus another battery and some cables.

HTH,
Robin.
