What condition is the trail in right now? I've heard its very icy and snowy. I want to take a run up there today, but I don't want to make a pointless trip. Thanks.

Was up there yesterday and the snow/ice starts at the first corner before the bridge on the easy line. There was 2 trucks ahead of me and they were not making much forward progress so I decided to turn around. I could also hear another group on the CB and they were having problems getting up the rock step after the bridge. Hope that helps.

It is getting a little too hard for a stock truck. You will scrape the skid plates lots. 6" and 33's will be plenty to go up there.

I couldn't get past those first few rocks unless I didn't care for my truck, even then I'd probably not get up there. With my open diffs and no suspension lift I have little articulation and as soon as I lift a wheel on those rocks...

I feel like an idiot, but I took a cruise up there this afternoon and I couldn't even make it to the trail head, of course my tires are crap but that road is slippery. By the way, who ever was zig zaging up in the grass on the sides of the road is an idiot!

Yea it has gooten a lot tougher. If you know what you are doing you can do it with 31 inch mud terrains and open diffs. It will take you a lot of try's though. IT really has erroded itself into a nice little trail.

The last time I was up there with my sammi, I had a pretty tough time getting past the first rocks. I was running 32" mud kings on open diffs with 4.62's.
