Finnaly got my truck runnin. It barely starts though and after it starts, there is a terrible screach from the back side of the enigne on the passenger side, and I also can't bring the idle below 2500rpm, so my timing is pooched which may be why it is running crappy. Anthony

Checked vacum lines, all seem to be in tacked, but I forgot one bolt on a plate on the back of the head that is EGR related so that is hopefully the the problem, would that also be the cause of the high rpms? I have the screw adjusted as far as it can go.

I think I figured it out, it may be the bolt that holds that fuel line on the upper part of the intake,I over tightened it, so I will have to wait for a new one to come in. Anthony
