Hey folks. Any special concerns fitting said tires on an 88 1/2 Samurai? All I am really worried about is the front end as I now have plenty of room out back with the new fenders

They'll fit for the street, but you'll probably rub on the trail.

There is a steel lip in the wheel wells that will cut the tires.

The front bumper will probably catch a bit.

These problems are pronounced when the sway-bar and the bumpstops are removed for greater articulation.

I would make a set of 2" longer than stock shackles that will give you 1" of lift.

Trim a couple inches off the bumper. I used a circular saw with a metal cutting blade to make short work of a friend's bumper ends. I trimmed them to the curve of the tire for looks as well.

Pound the inner wheel well lips flat.

Thanks for the info Jo-Jo. I've already got the 2" extended shackles on my rig. Sounds like they will fit no problem.
