I may of found myself a decent sammurai but i've but told(through an ispection) that the front end needs to be replaced. How difficult of a job am i looking at? Is it worth it?? Any help's appreciated.
What do you mean by front end?! As in the front diff? If that's what you mean and you are just doing a direct swap from one complete to another then look at 3-4 hours with air tools a couple more without. Its not hard just bolts that are likely very rusty (u-bolts and upper shocks are usually the trouble areas -- read use liquid wrench before wrenching!). The only special tool you need is a pickle fork or some other specialty tool for the tie rod ends on your draglink.
Other than that remember how things came apart so you can put them back together.
I'm sure someone here can help you out if you aren't feeling up to the task.
