So i'm under the impression that this swap can be done, rather easily? It looks like 2 me that the motor compartments are the same, and if i use a rad from the newer one. I can't turn this deal down 89 yj motor,tranny and case, 80,000km on the whole thing, 600.00 bucks. He did a V-8 swap. Thanks 4 the feed back. Hopefully it start this weekend.:welder

But like I said, you need engine frame mounts from the inline six truck, make sure you get some.
And the radiator support you're gonna have to cut out your existing one and do some sheetmetal work to make the new one fit.

I have the photo's heres somewhere of the differences in engine bays.

You could search for them on Jeeps Unlimited except that the JU board is down right now due to a worlds longest thread competition that crashed the system.
