i have a 95 yj with a 4 cylinder engine. when i start my jeep after its been sitting for the night or long periods of time it idles really rough, but after its warm its fine. i had the injectors cleaned about a year ago.

Its a Jeep, most jeeps are like that, at least thats what i hear. Mines the same, it takes a little while to get started too now because of the cold weather, i wouldn't worry too much about it, but if you do, get it checked out for the winter, but i don't think there is really anything wrong with it.

'95 YJ here too!
Might be a good idea to take her in for a winter prep, check your spark plugs, etc. It's almost 7:30pm and my jeep is under an inch of snow already (north van). Finally some real snow!

It is a jeep thing. Everyones starts off cold. I need to keep it in N and rev it up to 1500 just to keep it from stalling out.
It wont be a clean start, guarenteed.

The exhaust and intake manifolds may need tightening. if thay are loss even a little bit it will cause air to enter and excape from nn desired spot.
-does it happen after it rains?
the manifolds and engine block expand when they get hot so the gap gets sealed up and the moisture dries up and you idle fine.
