Hi. I am new to this forum, but have a long (if not continious) experience with off roading. I was into it quite a bit when I lived in Vancouver back in the late 70's and early 80's. I am in Calgary these days, and I am planning a trip to BC for August.

One of the places I used to love to go was the FSR up the West side of Harrison Lake all the way up to Pemberton (Hwy 99 used to end there in those days, Duffy Lake road was another of our backroad treks then).

Anyway, has anyone been up that way recently, what is it like these days?

I am driving a JKU Rubicon (Stock for now).

Too bad, it used to be fun. At least it hasn't suffered the fate of Duffy Lake Road and the Coquihalla. I remeber going throught the old Coquihalla in Winter (Late Winter I grant you); that was interesting.

Unfortuneatly, I didn't get to try the Harrison West FSR this time. I did get to travel on Texas Creek road (Lillooet to Lytton) and Mabel Lake-Three Valley Gap FSR. Great to back in the BC backroads.
