The MVA says that they are supposed to be mounted near the corners to indicate your width but doesn't actually say how narrow you can make them. Those new Saturns have the headlights damn near the center so I figure that you can get away with it.
Land Rover moved their lights wider apart to satisfy North American requirements. Unfortunately, I can't recall whose requirements those were. AFAIK, the TJ lights are also wider apart but I _think_ that was for the European market.Originally posted by Goof:
