Hello All,

With the little cool snap we had, I had to run my heater to defrost front window. I keep meltin one leg from the fuse every few days. I replaced the motor with a new one from Lordco. It still melts the fuse .Any ideas where else to look??

Nope :D

Do you have means to check the amp draw on the motor?

Disconect the wires and check continuity to ground to see if they've got a slight short on the hot side?

Check your connection at the fuse. You probably had a bad contact there and the heat caused the fuse leg to melt. Now that the little plug-in terminal has been heated, it's lost it's tension and doesn't make a good connection and will melt every fuse you put in. Bypass it with another fuse holder, unless you can find a supplier for the contact and replace it.
