Johnny joints have some vibration damping and some "bounce" thanks to their polyurethane core, and some types are adjustable so you can tighten them up as they wear. Only a few aftermarket 4x4 places make them, so they tend to be pricey.

Heims are more common, but good-quality ones can be very expensive. Personally I don't like the idea of using them very much, since they're hard to protect from the elements. Once they start to wear out, there's not much you can do but replace them, and very worn ones can get dangerous if they're mounted in single shear...
