I have seen/heard about roughly 12 scouts in the lower mainland:
1 - 1979 Traveltop Scout II, Yellow (Mine)
2 - 1980 Traveltop Scout II, Grey (Bandit's)
3 - 1976 Traveller, Orange
4 - 197? Midas Scout II, Blue
5 - 1974 Traveltop Scout II, restored, Yellow
6 - 197? Softtop Scout II, many colors
7 - 1979 Traveltop Scout II, restored, Red
8 - 1977 Scout Terra, Green/gold
9 - 1977 Scout Terra, Many colors (Paul Zsydowcis {sp"?}
10 - 1977 Scout Terra
11 - 197? Scout Softtop, restored, Royal Blue
12 - 197? Traveltop Scout II, Restored, British Racing Green, (someone who goes to Pub Med in Burnaby)

1 Scout 80 in Queensborough, owned by a friend of the guy I bought my scout from, restored, red.

1 1950's IH pickup, 2x4 up the hill from me in New West. (guy restores firebirds)

1 1960'5 (I think)L110 4x4 restored, red, owned by a postal worker in richmond.

1 1960's (I think) 110 2x4 in Vancouver, restored, red

1 1974 2x4 travelall with 392 in richmond, owned by a guy named Victor, he bought it new, off the lot when he worked for IH.

That's about all of them, if anyone knows of others, or people who own them, please let me know. I'm trying to find out if anyone would be interested in an all IH show / get-together in the lower-mainland sometime.

Also been thinking about starting an IH owners club around here.

As for value, try this: http://members.aol.com/mstarprod/ihvalueguide.htm

Good luck!

P.S. If you find an 80 for sale, let me know, I want a toy

Thanks.. Shawn

His name is Soren, and he will sell parts to those few who actually have Scouts(sucks for us Jeep owners).

He is very selective in his sales, and usually buys more than he sells, but I'm sure if you offer enough money, he will sell...

Well I supose I should speak up here. He does have parts as well as Trucks for sale. But like anything it is for a price (after all it(Scouts) is a passion of his) as is 4-wheeling to the most of us. He does want to form a club but not an actual club registered and all. Mostly a database of IH owners that like to wheel and swap parts and info. The start of this is www.scoutlaws.com which we are trying to keep up to date. So anyone with the skills and knowledge to keep up a web site e-mail the link on the site with suggestions. Or offers to help me update it would help. Anyway for those of you who do not know me my name is Derek McLeod I own 2 Scouts right now a1978 Scout II and a 1979 Scout Traveller. The 1978 has a 345 auto ,4inch springs,2inch lift shackles,2 inch body lift, and 33x12.5x15 wild country tires. The 1979 is mostly stock with the same running gear. So if you want parts or info or just someone to go on the trail with call me @ 604-607-0340 or e-mail me.
