how much would it be for me to put in 5.29 gears in my 87 toyota pickup that is a 4 cylinder? this includes cost for the gears and installation.

Last time I got a quote from North Shore Off Road was in November. They said the 5.29's for the 7.5" (your front diff) would be $323.19, and the gears for the 8" (your rear diff) would be $299.25. This is NOT installed mind you. I'm allergic to paying shop labor.

Petes prices are about the same as I paid.One thing is to get the better quality of gear which makes them easier to set up.I got a cheaper set of 5.29s for my front and they where a pain in the ass to set up,took like 0.075 thousands of shims to set up correctly.Labour all depends on how long it takes to do.Can never really quote labour
