I'm thinkin my frame is toast ..... I cut out a section on either side of the frame , just in front of the rear spring hangers ...its really rusty and i'm just wondering what your thoughts are on frames .

I was concidering cutting out the whole box plating on the frame , sandblasting , and welding in new plating , but the "c-chanel" seems to be in sad shape what do you guys think ?

im worried about the rest of the frame , not just where I cut out the 2 pieces . I actually planed on replacing the whole inner "boxing" steel , after its blasted and treated . I also want to , extend the frame 9" and re-box the "c-chanel" outer frame ..... The problem is I think the frame has been severly weakened from the inside out . If and when I sand blast the inside of the frame , will it be to weak ? am I makin' sence?
