I think I'd like to give it a try. I have heard and read about it but have never made it up there.
I'm still trying to get used to the XJ. I went from a 97 HD F250 with 5" of lift to a XJ with 3"...... Hard to get used to.

Rob
Go on a Saturday and my buddy and I would be able to go.
OK, who's in? Sunday Nov 25th 9am at the McDonalds.

I guess I'll probably join you guys. Also I think Gerry in the yellow Hummer was thinking of going up as well.

went to lower hut last sunday.was pretty easy, but i went too late in the afternoon and decided against going to upper because it was already dark.
there was no trace of snow or anything (4 or 5 deep puddles was all)does upper hut usually have snow when lower doesn't?
met about 5 mangled toys just coming up when i was leaving,(howdy! whoever you guys were
)and saw a nuclear yellow hummer with swampers all the way back from squamish across the lions gate

Does anyone have a spare seat for the trip? I would love to head up there, but there is no way that my truck can get to upper Hut.

Sounds like Gerry's yellow Hummer. He came out with us on the Region 2 run last Sunday.

I'm willing to try anything but my jeep is my daily driver. I have about 3 1/2" of lift and 31x10.5 BFG AT's. I made it to lower hut lake no problem but, will I make it to upper hut? (without major damage)

The water has done quite a number on the upper water fall and it is much easier now. Rule of thumb, if you can't climb the challenge rock, don't try upper without friends. I was up there earlier in the year with a TJ on 31's with limited slip and he (Brown Jeep) could not quite make it and had to back down, but it is easier now.

I think you need to qualify that. "Challenge Rock" is much of a challenge since some idiot(s) took down that tree and everyone else has been driving over shrubs all around the rock. Now, there are lines ranging from easy to difficult on it.
