I have a '66 EB with a 289 V8 and a '73 frame and drive-train.

What parts are needed to uprade to electronic ignition(I have a new centech wiring harness)?

Which steering wheels with fit a '66 column, and work with the signal kill switch?

thanks,
P H

Hey, I have a simple schematic to patch in an electronic ford ignition, but to me you are better off sticking with points, or carry a new module with you at all times, as they fail without warning, and often.
Speaking from experience of course.
Also, why not instal a later model column for the steering?

On mine I bought a Ford electronic distibutor and wired it to a Chrysler ignition module, cause I happen to have one, LoL.

They're all just a magnetic signal, you can run it off anything you want.

Good reading is "The doctors guide to maximizing your ignion" by Doctor Jacob, or Jacobs ignition fame. He's got a lot of great ideas and shows how to hook up almost any electronic distributor to any electronic igniton box.
