Anyone know what's involved to install a windshield in a Jeep CJ and if it would save much? I've been quoted $300 to $500 (ouch!) for a replacement with install. I believe my deductible is $200, that's if I'll be covered for something like the windshield falling forward onto the motor while working on jeep.

thx

The 4th glass shop I called will cut glass and install for around $150 so that's not looking so bad. It would be about $60 more if they order in the precut glass, I have no idea waht the difference would be but one shop told me the precut would fit better. You would think that if it was cut the right size it would work the same but maybe it's tough to cut to the exact size?

ouch.. well i think best option is probably wrecking or something.. or someone parting out thier jeep or something.. that would be lot more cheaper.. from my point of view..
