Ricoram, you are new to the board so I will fill you in on some issues. I have deleted your previous posts because they deal with "urban offroading" areas. The Greater Vancouver area is so developed that the chances of an undeveloped lot being open to wheeling are ZERO. Common sense would dictate that tearing around on private property just makes the local 4wheeling community look like idiots. As it is the 4wheeling community has difficulty with its image.

Some might argue that chewing around in a mud filled lot is 4x4ing but it's not. Take a look at the bulletin board, next time a trail run happens go along with the people. You will find that they will be happy to have you along. You will find better, more challenging 4x4ing this way.

Very well said Wil.

ricoram, like I said in the earlier post, go and get yourself a backroads mapbook and go out and explore the many trails in legitimate wheeling places. Also like Wil said, keep checking the board for trail runs. There is usually at least one a week.

ricoram-st michelles is private property, you will get a ticket if the cops catch you, seen many people get them there. also if you want to find some trails buy a book called "The four wheelers companion" by mark bostwick. it has trails from all around here. the trails are rated as to difficulty in this book so you can aviod hard trails until you get some experience. oh ya the book is only about $18, well worth the money

I beleive you forgot to add " in my opinion" at the end of your statement.
Just correcting you.
That is all.

For example: If you were in an art gallery with a bunch of people would you go around telling them which painting are art and which ones are not.
I believe I have made my point.

Also I am interested in reading the replies you have deleted.
Even if the guy is wrong he should be allowed to post his opinions too.

Then people can absorb the inforamtion and arrive at their own opinions.
Not be told waht they should believe.

i agree with double barral buddy, everyone on here should be aloud to post thier opinion, although i understand how wil wants to limit the ilegal 4x4in around bc. so theres 2 sides to it. i just think that people should (as double barel said) be able to come to their own conclusion.

Thankyou,

Someone finally agrees with me.

Also a note on the illegal 4x4ing locations.
Assuming a location is illegal does not make it illegal.
Unless the moderator does research it is unfair for him to be the judge, jury and executioner. It just removes the credability of this site. Perhaps a great legal location will be not enjoyed and alot of people would miss out.

If this site was all full of people who agreed with each other 100 percent,..it would lack alot of substance.
We would all drive lada's.
We would all be male.
We would all have low IQ's.
We would all be chrisians.
And so on.

All the fruit in the basket is still in the basket together, even if some of it is rotten or higher stacked up than others or even a different kind.
But I consider all of it to be equal, even if I don't wanna eat the rotten stuff. Or I don't like pears.
It is best to figure out what you wanna eat, not to be force fed a pear by a man hiding in the shadows.

why should you be "allowed"? You don't own this site. The majority of people(from what I read) are sick of reading about consruction site turd packing wheelers. Maybe public opinion has something to do with posts diapearing,or maybe it's COMMON SENSE.

What is your major malfunction.
Read what you say about your own opinion.
I don't like your opinion but I still accept.
If you don't like other peoples opinions you should not be on a message board where opinions are expressed.
Everyone thinks their opinion is the majorities opinion but it is not.

No one is putting a gun to you head telling you to read whats on your screen are they?
If you don't wanna read peoples opinions go to a new topic or different page.

Why don't you make your own message board with only you on it. Then you will never have someone who thinks differently than you do.
What bliss would that be eh.
I bet after a while you would even disagree with yourself.
Poetic justice.

I don't think that the posts being deleted had anything to do with a difference of opinions. It has to do with the content of the post. Posting about wheeling on private land is just plain stupid.

When posting, just remember that wheelers arent' the only people that read this board.

double-barrell-darrell it sounds to as if you are trying to defend 4x4ing on private land.if that is the case then your posts should have been deleted.if its not then why don't you stop crying like a baby and realize that the moderator that deleted the posts is doing that to protect our sport from people that would take all the land away from us.what part are you not understanding about people reading this board who want to shut down all our areas?any site that is on private property that you don't have permission for is illegal-its called tresspassing.

Hey dumbass,

Why don't you read and think before you type.
The problem is we are talking about 4x4ing areas that are legal and not private land.
We are being told the land is private and illegal by people who have not been there.

The whole discussion is about legal locations being deleted and told that they are illegal.

We are not discussing illegal location.
I have not defended any 4x4ing on private land.

I am in search of new locations that are legal. And have found some.

ok [email protected] for brains incase you were unaware let me spell it out for you.
there are 3 types of land in the province.
1)Private land <need permision of the landowner>

2)Crown land <teknicaly ours and mostly leagle to drive on>

3)Municipal land < due to liabilitys no municipal land is drivable>

now that we have those facts lets examin a few more.
Within the boundaries of the gvrd there is NO crown land. in fact untill chilliwack there is no crown land south of the fraser.
also due to liabiltys the municipalitys donot alow motor sports on private land except with LARGE liability insur. policys as the tow truck owner in surrey found out.

Now with that in mind you tell me where you found leagle land to wheel on?
and before you take the kids responce yes my spelling and grammer sux no I don't care and no it has no bering on this discution.

I only know him from the time he pulled up next to my jeep and told me to get a real jeep, as his passenger flips me off so he may have been nice but I never saw it. And well You know Dax opened himself up to be a target with the things he said. Kinda like Darrell
