Has anyone here ever installed this header?I have just received one and I have a couple of questions about it.

There is a round gasket in the package....does it go between the two sections of pipe that slide together?

What would be the best gasket sealant to use on this exhaust system....I know they don't recommend anything with silicone in it.

The round gasket is for the pipe connection yes. It's called the collector. Generally you never use sealant of any kind when joining exahust pieces. There is muffler cement but thats generally for repairing broken/rusted peices. Anything you tried to use as sealent would burn pretty much instantly, especially when used close to the header.
