Everytime it rains my Jeep Leaks. It's a 97 tj, well only when it rains heavy I a get a puddle on the driver side underneath the brake and clutch pedal and a small damp spot alongside of the driver seat. I looked numerous time underneath the steering colum while the garden hose was being sprayed over the window, hood, roof. It doesn't leak then. It appears when there is a constant flow of water over a period of several hours that the annoying pond appears.
Any help would be great. Tired of removing the drain plug everytime it rains, and the smell of damp carpet.

 Could always invest in a Husky liner

I still have this in my 2000 tj. Only when I drive 120 in the rain my passenger side and glove box gets soaked. I have figured that it is the seal for flipping your windshield down. But mine only happens when Im driving and like I said it was the passenger side so I have just left it…
