Called Chev. dealer today. '78 T-case input shaft (203) goes for !!$562.75!! , then he said the 'bad' news was that its a discontinued item.
Apperently are views on 'bad news' differs quite a bit.
205's were $455 to $330, and discontinued.

Anyone know of a better place to shop for an input shaft?? The wreckers don't wanna split up the T-cases.(understandable)

So does that mean that there are not available (the 205 ones) or there is still some hanging around somewhere covered in dust in the back of some wharehouse parts room. Why the big differences in price for the 205 ones, I know there are 2 different lengths for the female 32 spliner, did he say which price was for which one. So far the best deal seems to be online where you get the shaft and bearing and seals for 200$ american.
