... Pitman arm hits the frame when I turn right. I'm thinking that the drop pitman arm I got is really not much of a drop at all, it looks just like the old IFS one.

So the question is, which drop pitman arm do I buy from Sport Trucks, the IFS drop one or the solid axle drop one?

hey pete, how is it hitting the frame? dont quite understand? is the box mounted so the draglink swings in a contant arc? you do have a sas dont you? ive heard of the draglink hitting the frame on the pass. side and people having to notch the frame but not the pitman arm

Why would you need a dropped pitman arm on a SAS truck with hysteer?

There's no reason for that. Use the stock pitman arm.

You may be able to loosen off the3 box and there may be enough play in the box mounting holes to get it to clear.

You shouldn't need a drop arm at all.

are you sure you have the pitman arm in the right spot pete?is it out a bit?.if you need the solid drop pit man arm it depends on what stering box you want to use,im asuming ou are using yours the ifs one so that would be what yo get,

Pete call me asap!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had theh same problem!

I had to get new grade 8 bolts!!!

It just fits!...... Its an american truck frraqme thing! they are made dif. believe it or not!

OTT is making or made a new arm to fix my problem!
