:help: now somebody here must know what headers fit my truck. 1980 f-150 351m 4x4 standard trans. i can only find for an automatic. i'm assuming somebodys done it, are you supposed to modify the automatic ones or....?
any help would be rad.

I put headers in my '80 but I can't remember what brand they were. I know for sure I had to "smack" in one of the tubes a little to clear the starter. I'll look thru my papers and see if I still have the receipt. Later.

OK, so I found the receipt for my 351M headers. They are Walker/Dynomax brand. Part number 85083. That is an Acklands/Graninger part number but it may be the same at other parts houses. I paid $134 for them in 1995! Good luck.
